My painting experience goes back two decades, but it is not extensive. Most everything is created in acrylic and is centered on abstract or stylized ideas.
The three works listed here were created in a single weekend.
Sculpture
All of my tree sculptures are created from copper and aluminum wire set in cast plaster. The plaster bases are carved to mimic nature, but otherwise left raw.
Other sculptures explore the use of basswood and salvaged electronics.
Architecture Projects
All works posted here were created during my first year of architecture school at the University of Houston.
Materials used include basswood, chip board, museum board, MDF, and acrylic paint.
Computer Case Modification
I have been modifying computer cases since 2001. Each project has become more advanced, requiring me to learn new skills, such as vacuum-forming and resin casting.
This latest case is based on a sci-fi starship theme. What started as a run-of-the-mill chassis is now wrapped in foam and fiberglass. Not one inch of the case is stock.
